For county and city governments looking to decrease the cost of parcel imaging, the Visre vehicle mounted high resolution DriveBy Camera System is an excellent choice. It greatly reduces both assessment imagery collection cost and subsequent image processing time by rapidly capturing images and integrating those images directly into existing GIS/CAMA systems.
Visre can capture imagery rapidly. A single Visre vehicle is capable of capturing imagery of over 4,000 parcels per day (depending on parcel density this can grow dramatically). And as we can deploy multiple vehicles into a single area, all properties in an entire county can be imaged in weeks if needed. Because our imaging system is designed to capture imagery in a 360° field of view, Visre can deliver parcel imagery at multiple angles in order to meet specific county requirements. Standard photo sets can show improvements on each parcel from a directly in front of the parcel and from approaching and receding angles.
By combining the images from two or more of the eight cameras that comprise the system, Visre can deliver panoramic images. And when fully utilizing Visre's technology, Video DriveBys can be created allowing the client to virtually drive any street in the county from their office.

Authenticated Images Linked to Parcel Data
Visre uses proprietary software in conjunction with GPS positioning of each image and accurate parcel shapefiles from counties to authentically link each image to the corresponding parcel. We then watermark each image by printing the date and time of capture, the latitude and longitude and the street address of each parcel on the image itself. Watermarking can also add county information into the image, such as the Assessor's Seal, the County Seal, etc.
